Cookie policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Window Quote Finder uses, what they do and how long they last.
Last updated: July 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use your browser's local storage in the same way. We use them to remember how you reached our site so we can measure and improve our advertising.
Cookies we set
When you land on our site we set first-party wml_* cookies that record marketing attribution — the campaign source, medium and search or ad terms from the address you arrived on, advertising click identifiers (for example Google and Meta click ids) and the first page you visited. These are stored under names beginning wml_ and expire 90 days after they are set. Equivalent values may also be kept in your browser's local storage.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
wml_utm_* | Records the campaign source, medium, term and content that brought you to the site. | 90 days |
wml_* (click ids) | Stores advertising click identifiers (such as Google and Meta click ids) so we can attribute enquiries to our advertising. | 90 days |
wml_landing_url | Remembers the first page you arrived on for attribution. | 90 days |
Analytics and tag manager cookies
We may enable a tag manager and analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand how our site is used. When enabled, these set their own cookies — for example _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics, up to 24 months) and any measurement cookies from advertising platforms. These are not active until tagging is switched on, and this policy will be updated with the specifics at that point.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Blocking our attribution cookies will not stop you using the site or submitting the form — it only limits how we measure our advertising.
